Over the extended bank holiday 2nd-5th June, it is planned to decorate Hurst in bunting to celebrate the Queens Platinum jubilee.

We are looking for eco-friendly bunting makers, village crafters and creative people to get involved in making them. No special skills required so everyone could get involved, young and old.
In addition to bunting, we will also be looking for handheld flags or anything else you can think of that would be suitable.

The bunting made will be used to decorate the events, but we encourage all residents to have beautiful Union Jack bunting or fabric bunting in shades of red, white and blue in their garden, round walls and over fences to create the perfect Jubilee decoration. Instructions on how to make them can be found here.

If interested, please contact us below to be added to the bunting helpers list.
